Friday we swore in the 45th President of the United States. Regardless of your political leanings, such an event demonstrates the greatness of our country through a peaceful transfer of power, which despite our blemishes, is the envy of the whole world.
Most inaugural addresses have moments that leave an indelible imprint on the fabric of the American story. While in no way do I profess the ability to inspire the masses as these moments have, they do inspire me to provide you with the following:
My fellow FNTI Family Members,
We leave 2016 with moments, events, accomplishments, successes, and failures heading into the greatest year ever—2017!—the greatest year of our short but beautiful history and hopefully the greatest year for you.
To achieve our mutual dream of this year being the best ever in our business lives, there is one undeniable truth: We are in this together! FNTI can think of no better person to attach our dreams to—YOU—our loyal FNTI agents.
To the extent you will let us, FNTI will serve as a true partner in you quest to fulfill all things that need fulfillment.
Your problems become our problems. Your needs become our mission to meet head on without fear but a sense of excitement as to the challenge.
Thank you for joining us in this great and successful journey.
At this point, the speech is made, vague musings of great plans are promised, the music plays, and we walk off into the sunset.
What the above doesn’t state is, “Why in the world do you believe 2017 is the best ever?” This year is the accumulation of all our hard work of the past five years that includes the signing of nearly 100 like-minded agents, and the growth of our staff whose individual talents have been brought together to form FNTI. History is the greatest indicator of the future and our collective history has been nothing short of awe aspiring. This leads to a forecast of an even better 2017.
That was easy. Now I can shuffle off to waving and kissing babies.
Not so fast! You may be wondering, “How are they going to do all those lofty wonderful things he talked about above?”
The “how” is usually the toughest part of implementing any strategy, since these are the actions that need to be taken to get there? I can tell you there will be issues, actions, plans, etc. that we have not thought of at this time. That is ok because FNTI prides itself on our flexibility adaptability.
My objective this year in these blogs is to highlight the “how.” We have identified these so far:
- “How can I get my title work at a competitive price in a county where I’m not licensed?”
- “How can I get a timely answers to my underwriting questions that are easy to understand and considers all the options?”
- “How can I send my commercial deals to an underwriter I know, like, and trust without fear of that underwriter’s limitations?”
- “How can I train and educate my team members in an easy, fun, educational, and economic manner?”
- “Who can I bounce ideas off without fear of such conversations being used against me?”
Until next time.
