I recently read a startling statistic. 89% of firings in America are due to poor attitude and not from lack of job skills. There was no age criteria in this stat but this is interesting, because what is the cause of the poor attitude? Could it be the boss or other employees are bringing the attitude down? Our attitude is something we should continue to monitor, but how often? Daily? Weekly? Every Month? The answer is different for everyone. I drive a good bit, to and from the office and on the road traveling and visiting our wonderful title agents. Most every day when setting out in the car, I take some of the time on the drive to think about my day. One question I ask myself is how can I make a difference today? This helps me find my motivation and passion. Our attitudes are typically better when we have a motivation we are passionate about, and we are much happier because of it. We can create a more pleasant culture for our day and everyone around us if we will take a few steps to monitor and control our attitudes. How is yours today? I truly hope it is great!
